Back on Track Liverpool Ltd is a new social enterprise, based in High Park Street, Liverpool 8, that has been accepted onto Liverpool City Council’s Approved Providers Framework for alternative education.

Designed to offer support for those young people who don’t “fit” traditional education, the emphasis will be on personal development, employability skills and creative, practical and accredited programmes that incorporate basic English and Maths skills.

Lead tutor Jennifer Reid says:

“Too many of our young people are being excluded from mainstream provision and made to feel worthless.  Traditional school learning doesn’t suit everyone,  but young people excluded from school aren’t failures, and shouldn’t be made to feel so. Back on Track was set up to help release the talents and abilities in young people and boost their self-belief and help them achieve to the best of their ability.”
